Psychedelic Harm Reduction

Psychedelically Aware has been running talking circles through The PATCH for 3 years. This workshop discusses the insights gained from the community regarding harm reduction approaches to taking psychedelics and encourages attendees to be a part of the discussion.

A walk through how to create greater safety when choosing to have a psychedelic experience is the core of this workshop. The risks and benefits that may come out of having a psychedelic experience, within the context of a diverse range of reasons people choose to have them.

Delving into the content found in “How to be Psychedelically Aware”, our recently released book on harm reduction for psychedelic use, being a practical guide created for the Australian context. Lastly, how members of the public can become involved in psychedelic harm reduction.

Entheogenesis Australis

Entheogenesis Australis (EGA) is a charity using education to help grow the Australian ethnobotanical community and their gardens. We encourage knowledge-sharing on botanical research, conservation, medicinal plants, arts, and culture.
