Ethnobotanist and herbal medicine expert Dr GPS Jhala has spent 25 years promoting traditional herbal medicine and training generations of locals in the wisdom of Indigenous herbs for environmental sustainability and economic affordability. He tirelessly promotes plant medicine in several government and not-for-profit sectors around India and in overseas locations. His area of expertise includes educating local healers (Gunis) in health, medicine and scientific methodology. Dr Jhala holds a PhD in Ethnobotanical medicine and currently works at community organisation (NGO) Seva Mandir in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Entheogenesis Australis (EGA) is a charity using education to help grow the Australian ethnobotanical community and their gardens. We encourage knowledge-sharing on botanical research, conservation, medicinal plants, arts, and culture.
