How Psychedelic Yoga led me to Dolphins

This is a tale of synchronicities, revisiting unlikely intersections and new understandings.

Once beyond family, late 60s, I was a free agent in a time of profound social change. I chose to take chances, to trust my intuition.
When psychedelics came my way I was eager to explore. Not long on the ‘poison path’ I found a boundary to honour. I imposed a limit, committing to its use in natural surroundings, alone or with a supportive ally. My interest in psychedelics focused on ‘mind expansion’ and revelation, primarily using LSD and Peyote. I improvised a yoga practice of Asanas, study of esoteric texts, lightshows, and meditation.

Entering the School of Initiation, I sought the Light of the Soul. Synchronicities gifted me with psychedelics and in a series of ecstatic Unions, I experienced transcendent reality.

Presence wrapped itself like a cloak around my magnetic heart. Emptied then filled, an Alternity was revealed — to Participate — I consecrated myself to fulfilling the vision.

Some years later synchronicity brought a legend about dolphins. I found myself inside the tale, a carrier of the legend…a Legendarian.
This re-centered my life, opening the mystery of the Dolphins.

In the following years I dove, swam, played, taught, learned and laughed among dolphins. Spending hundreds of hours in and under water with dolphins, both wild and in human care, dolphins carried me around the world, taught me, and urged me to share their tale. They led me to their friend, Dr. John Lilly and the Earth Coincidence Control Office (ECCO). We worked together for the last six years of his life.

I moved to Australia, wrote a book, got a prescription for Ketamine, made a TV special, ran a wellness program with dolphins, then chose to play the academic game…earning two degrees for studies of how human and dolphin societies affect each other.

My dolphin journey is not over, altho I can no longer swim. Land-bound I have discovered much, diving even deeper into the Delphic mysteries and how Psychedelic Yoga can be understood and practiced as an agent of ECCO. I look forward to sharing the tale with you.
