Kirt Mallie
Kirt Mallie is an Indigenous Therapist, Cultural Educator and Spiritual Teacher. A proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander man, descendant of the Kaurareg/ Mualgal people. Co-founder of IPAT – Indigenous Psychedelic Assisted Therapies, Kirt is also a yoga/ meditation teacher, spiritual counsellor, sound therapist, and facilitates breathwork, Wayapa Wuurrk and We Al-li.
Devoted to Truth; Kirt listens deeply, treads lightly and speaks kindly, with reverence and gratitude for all elders, masters, teachers, students and Country that he continues to learn from. Understanding that connection is the cure, Kirt is passionate about creating safe and sacred spaces to do the deepest work possible.
Kirt has worked traditionally with plants for over 10 years. He worked at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research on the Psilocybin trial for prolonged grief, is currently working on a MDMA trial for PTSD in northern NSW and is on an advisory committee for an upcoming trial at Monash University.
