Thomas Munro

Thomas Munro researched the chemistry of Salvia divinorum during his PhD at the University of Melbourne, and also during postdoctoral research at McLean Hospital (a Harvard Medical School affiliate), where he invented one of the most potent known hallucinogens, symmetry (salvinorin B ethoxymethyl ether). He then spent a year acting in Bollywood, but was surprised when a brief scene with Shah Rukh Khan failed to result in global megastardom.

Entheogenesis Australis

Entheogenesis Australis (EGA) is a charity using education to help grow the Australian ethnobotanical community and their gardens. We encourage knowledge-sharing on botanical research, conservation, medicinal plants, arts, and culture.
