
Ticket Terms and Conditions
Entheogenesis Australis (EGA) is a registered environmental charity committed to providing a professional, respectful, and educational environment. These conditions apply to all ticket holders for our events, particularly the Garden States Conference.
By purchasing or using a ticket, attendees agree to the following terms:
1. Each ticket is permitted one name change free of charge. Name changes may be requested via tickets@entheogenesis.org no later than one week before the event. Complimentary, promotional, or staff tickets are non-transferable.
2. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian. Attendees aged 16–18 require written parental or guardian consent. Children aged 6 and under must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
3. Conference tickets (including add-ons and accommodation packages) are non-refundable.
4. Entry may be refused or revoked without refund for disorderly, unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive conduct. Authorities may be called if required.
5. The Promoter may use photographs, videos, and recordings from the event for promotional, educational, or archival purposes.
6. Photography, audio, or video recording of the programmed content for commercial or business purposes is prohibited unless pre-approved by the Promoter.
7. The program is subject to change without notice. This includes presenters, speakers, times, seating, and capacity.
8. The Promoter/Venue Owner may cancel or interrupt the event due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.
9. Attendees may be asked to consent to a bag or car check in the interest of public safety.
10. Event-related enquiries and or complaints must be directed to the Promoter.
11. Smoking and vaping are only allowed in designated areas at least 10 metres from any structure.
12. Alcohol is permitted on a BYO basis only, for personal consumption. No alcohol may be sold on-site.
13. No glass is permitted on-site—please bring cans and decant other beverages into suitable containers. Designated recycling bins will be available on-site for the disposal of empty cans.
14. All attendees must comply with venue rules and regulations.
15. Concessional ticket holders may be asked to show proof of concession upon entry.
16. Ticket holders must comply with all instructions from EGA staff, volunteers, and venue personnel.
17. Access to restricted or unauthorised areas is prohibited.
18. Noise must be kept to acceptable levels. Outdoor amplified sound is not allowed after 1100 PM unless approved by event management.
19. Vehicles must only be parked in designated areas.
20. Open flames, unauthorised fires, or incendiary devices are not allowed.
21. Proof of ticket purchase must be retained and shown on request.
22. No animals are allowed unless registered as assistance animals.
23. Ticket holders must avoid any action that could endanger the future of the event, venue relationships, or broader community safety.
24. Damage to property, structures, or infrastructure is strictly forbidden.
25. Aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour—including but not limited to acts of sexual harassment, racism, and discrimination—will result in removal from the venue and may lead to a ban from future events.
26. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions leading up to the event for safety or legal compliance. Changes will be communicated on our website or via email to existing ticket holders.
27. Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. Breaches may result in eviction and exclusion from future events.
28. This event is dedicated to the exploration of ethnobotanical and conservation sciences. Attendees are expected to uphold this educational purpose and refrain from engaging in party-like behaviour or the use of illicit substances.
29. EGA maintains a strict policy against the use of illicit substances. Any observed violations or any resulting behaviour that impedes the rights and learning of other attendees will result in a warning and may lead to removal from the venue. Legal medicinal use must be supported by documentation.
30. On-site safety officers and harm reduction professionals will be available throughout the event. Attendees are required to cooperate with these personnel to support health and wellbeing.
31. Medical staff and trained harm reduction teams will be present at the venue. EGA reserves the right to implement its harm prevention framework, supported by its longstanding relationship with health professionals, to promote attendee safety.
32. Tickets may not be resold or transferred for profit.
33. Personal property is the attendee's responsibility. EGA and venue management accept no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
34. EGA is not liable for loss or damage caused by cancellation or changes to the event due to force majeure, including natural disasters or regulatory changes.
35. Crew, volunteer, and program tickets are not to be sold or transferred to anyone. If you can not attend and fulfil your obligations, the ticket will be voided.
36. This event is strictly for educational and research purposes. EGA does not accept responsibility for how information presented at the event is interpreted or used outside the context in which it is presented.
