Liminal Nidra

Liminal Nidra – A Modern Approach to Deep Rest

For one hour, participants are invited into a modernised approach to yoga nidra, an immersive guided and sound meditation. Reclining in comfort, they are guided through body scans and visualisations while enveloped in a live soundscape of Guzheng (Chinese zither), electronic textures, and singing bowls. This sonic journey carries body and mind into deep states of rest.

Liminal Nidra explores the threshold between waking and sleeping, sound and silence, self and world. By blending ancient practices with live improvised music, we open a subtle space where the body recalibrates, the nervous system unwinds, and awareness gently expands.

The result is a practice that is restorative, accessible, and grounding, inviting participants into presence, clarity, and stillness.

For over a decade, the Liminal Nidra Project has delivered transformative sessions across Australia to Indonesia, presenting at festivals including Rainbow Serpent and Wide Open Spaces. We would love to bring this offering to Strawberry, creating a serene environment for rest and renewal.
